📖 Deal-winning playbook
Where deals come fastest — region strategy
1. United States — the deepest hourly-contract market on earth for BA/PM/PO. Your $20/hr is 3–5× below market ($60–120/hr), which makes you an easy yes. Work 6pm–11pm IST to overlap US mornings. Fastest first deal: Upwork + direct applications.
2. UK & Europe — strong contract culture (especially UK). 1:30pm–9pm IST is full overlap — your most natural workday. Migration PM demand is high; your Dell/DXC waves are the exact pitch.
3. Middle East / Gulf — your Saudi Aramco (AGOC) delivery is a door-opener nobody else has. Sunday–Thursday work week; target UAE/Saudi digital-transformation programs. Slower to close but bigger tickets.
4. Australia / NZ — early-morning IST overlap (5am–10am). Less volume, but they love India-based contractors and pay reliably.
5. India — for ₹2–3k/hr target startups raising Series A/B who need a fractional senior BA/PM — founders pay for speed. Also your training/coaching division sells best here.

The 90-minute daily sales system
Min 0–15: WorkDesk sweep — all preset chips, contract filter ON, save top 5 to pipeline.
Min 15–45: Apply to those 5 with tailored Letter+Quote (never copy-paste the same letter).
Min 45–70: Key People tab — 10 connection requests / DMs to people hiring this week. Log each.
Min 70–85: Follow-ups — everything in pipeline "Applied" older than 3 days gets a nudge.
Min 85–90: Log the scoreboard, stop the timer. Done. Consistency beats intensity — 90 min every day outperforms 6 hours on Saturday.
Positioning & pricing ladder
Now: $20/hr — the "easy yes" rate. Anchor with a 1-week paid pilot so risk feels zero.
After 3 five-star outcomes: $25–30/hr for new clients (never raise existing mid-contract).
After 10: $35–45/hr + move to weekly retainers (10h/week minimum) — income becomes predictable.
Parallel: productized fixed-price offers (BRD $400, migration audit $600, PMF study $500) — these sell without hourly ceiling.
Objection handling — the four you'll hear
"Why so cheap — is quality low?" → "I'm building my independent practice after 16 years at Dell/DXC rates. Early clients get enterprise delivery at founder pricing. The pilot week proves it."
"Timezone worries" → "I ran India–US delivery calls daily for 2.5 years at Dell. You'll get 4+ hours of your-timezone overlap and same-day turnaround."
"We need someone full-time" → "Start me at 20 hrs/week. Most clients find that replaces a full-time hire — and if not, I'll help you write the JD for one."
"No budget" → "What does this problem cost you monthly by staying unsolved? My month costs less than that. Happy to start smaller."
Follow-up cadence (where 80% of deals hide)
Day 3: "Adding one thought since I applied…" + a genuinely useful idea about their project.
Day 7: Share a relevant artifact — "Here's a migration-readiness checklist I use; may help regardless of who you hire."
Day 14: Graceful close — "Assuming timing isn't right; I'll leave you with X. Door's open." (This one gets surprising replies.)
